Bitz Intermediate Celebrates Family Engagement and Student Voice!

At Bitz Intermediate School, we believe that strong partnerships between families and schools lead to student success—and our recent family feedback challenge proved just that!

We invited parents and guardians to share their thoughts about what’s working well at Bitz and where we can grow. Thanks to your incredible participation, we received 211 responses filled with valuable insights. Your feedback helps us continue to build a school community where every student thrives.

To make things even more exciting, we turned the challenge into a friendly competition among grade levels. Students rallied their families to participate, and the 3rd grade emerged victorious!

As a reward, Dr. Whitfield kept his promise and became the target of some good-natured fun—students got to duct tape and silly string the principal! It was a moment full of laughter and celebration.

Dr. Whitfield shared,

“With 211 parent responses and students rallying their grade levels to the top, this challenge highlighted the power of student voice in driving meaningful family engagement. When families and schools connect, great things happen—like students earning the chance to duct tape and silly string the principal. Congratulations to our winning grade level for helping us gather valuable feedback in a fun, creative, and truly impactful way.”

We’re grateful for your continued support and partnership. If you haven’t had a chance to share your thoughts yet, it’s never too late—we’re always listening!
